Synopsis

The unpublished field recordings collected clandestinely by ethnomusicologists Cantacronache in Spain in 1961 are recovered. Sixty years later, a film crew does the very same trip following their footsteps. Through the prism of oral memory, archives and encounters with contemporary Spanish people and musicians, the two journeys respond to each other, forming a sensitive and political geography, regaining memories of the Francoist dictatorship through these recordings.
