Synopsis

Oma Net, 85, wants to share her painful past with her 20-year-old grandson, Mikael. But the young man’s other grandmother, Mamie Tualaka—whose husband may be responsible for the deaths of seven members of Oma’s family—opposes this. Torn between his two grandmothers, Mikael seeks to untangle the threads of his family’s history.
