Missing Rio Doce
Written and directed by Claudia NEUBERN
Documentary • WIP

Synopsis
On November 05, 2015, in the Brazilian state of Minas Gerais, a mining dam containing toxic waste broke. Poisonous sludge poured into the Rio Doce river, which flows 650 km to the Atlantic Ocean. It was the worst socio-environmental crisis in my country's history.
Retracing the path of the catastrophe, this film tells the story of the profound transformation of this territory, which has suffered lasting damage.
